(Detroit Techno Militia/Bang Tech 12/ESP/Subwoofer Records/Journees Music/4orce productions)
Relentless is the term used to describe this Detroit Techno Militia 313 Recon Soldier. His relentlessness has enabled him to become known as one of the most technical and true Detroit Electro and Techno producers in the underground scene. Eno’s deep relationship with the Detroit Techno Militia has enabled him to become the New England manager of the Worldwide Detroit based collective Bang Tech 12, while gaining the respect of the originators of Detroit techno. Reaching the top 10 on Beatport on several occasions with friend DJ Mary Jane together as the hard techno duo TOIL and as a solo artist, Eno also hosts a show titled “1701” on Fnoob Techno Radio (the webs #1 techno station) as well as becoming a staple during Movement festival weekend in the birthplace of techno, Detroit.
Kai Seimei [ kī SAYmay ] – Baltimore, MD (Bass Harvest)
Kai Seimei was introduced into the dance music scene in the mid 1990s. As with many of us, he finally found a place where he could be himself without fear of judgment or being outcast… Soon after he started dabbling with mixing records himself and even did some live production shows with a local group called Planetary Gear around 1999/2000. Kai has been a strong supporter and promoter of the music and the industry ever since. Although he has not once lost any love for the profession, it is in recent years that he has rediscovered his passion to play music. Influenced by techno, trance, ‘90s hip-hop, and house music, this man is dedicated to bringing a fresh sound with a little old skool flavor. Kai Seimei is determined to put bodies in motion and bring like minds together.
– (rough translation) –
Kai: begin, restore, recover
Seimei: life, existence, reputation
